September may be Su***de Prevention Month, but caring for one another matters every day. If you’re having a hard time right now, or you love someone who is, please remember: you don’t have to go through it alone. You don’t have to have the right words, have everything figured out, or pretend you’re okay. Sometimes, the bravest thing we can do is ask for help.

And sometimes, the most important thing we can do is remind someone they are loved, they matter, and they don’t have to face it alone. You are needed here 🩵💜

Men of Woods Chapel, this one’s for you!

Come hang out for an afternoon of BBQ, football, and fellowship! Enjoy free burgers and hot dogs after ANY of our worship services, a friendly BBQ competition with cash prizes, and the Chiefs game on the big screen in The Gathering Space at noon.

Bring your favorite BBQ to compete, a side or dessert to share if you’re not grilling, a drink, and lawn games if you’d like. No registration required. Just come ready for a great afternoon together!

Sometimes, making a difference starts with simply saying YES!

Rob and Kent said yes to an opportunity to mentor students in the Raytown School District, building relationships, offering encouragement, and investing in the lives of local kids.

Their story is a great reminder that we may never know the full impact our presence or encouragement can have on someone else. But when we say yes and allow God to work through us, He can use us to make a difference in ways we may never see.
