Not your typical VBS!

This year, Rainforest Falls VBS takes place during our regular Sunday morning Community Kids from this Sunday, June 14th through July 19th at 9 or 10:30 am.

No week long commitment or pre registration. Just bring your kids on Sunday mornings and let them experience all the fun of VBS while you gather with us upstairs!

It’s easy to look at the world around us and see what’s wrong. But the gospel was never meant to be a reason to look down on people. It was meant to be good news for them.

This week in Philippians, Stan challenged us to trade religious pride for gospel compassion. More than 70% of the people within five miles of our church don’t know Jesus. Our calling isn’t to sit back and point fingers at “those people.” It’s to bring hope, light, and good news.

Because if what we’re sharing doesn’t sound like good news, we’re probably not sharing Jesus. 🤔

Sometimes we assume spiritual maturity means finally "arriving."

Having all the answers. Never struggling. Getting everything right.

But Paul reminds us that maturity looks more like continuing to take the next step with Jesus.

Whether you've followed Christ for 30 years or 30 days, the invitation is the same: keep moving forward.

"Forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead..." (Philippians 3:13)

Paul’s resume was impressive!
The right heritage. The right credentials. The right reputation. Yet he counted it all as loss compared to the surpassing worth of knowing Christ.

No matter where we’re from, what we’ve accomplished, or how much we know, none of it is where our confidence belongs. May what we know or who we think we are never make us arrogant. May it humble us under the great name of King Jesus!

Church. Burgers. Friends. Sounds like a pretty good Sunday! 🍔

This Sunday, stick around after service for Burger Sunday in the Community Cafe! Beginning at 10:00 am, enjoy a cheeseburger, chips, and a drink for just $6. Kids 5th grade and under eat FREE with the purchase of an adult meal.

Last orders are taken at noon, but the cafe will stay open until 1:00 pm so you can relax, connect with friends, and enjoy a little extra time together!
