Today brother Dakota taught through Psalms 40, in which David offers praise to God for his deliverance from struggle, and asks for deliverance again when it's needed once more. We also have a need for deliverance. God exists in and out of that struggle and is willing to rescue us. We shouldn't waste our testimony when God rescues us from that struggle.

We'd love to see you next Sunday for service, as Pastor Josh begins a new sermon series teaching through 2 Peter.

This past Sunday Pastor Josh completed his sermon series on the book of Mark, teaching on Mark 15:40- 16:8. In this passage, Joseph of Arimathea faces fear to reclaim the body of his Savior and lay him in a tomb (fulfilling prophecy from the Old Testament) while the women at the tomb see that the body of their Savior no longer in the tomb & tell no one out of fear. Instead of submitting to the fear, which is the enemy of obedient faith, we should set our gaze to the Kingdom of God and show courage in the face of fear.

Today Pastor Josh continued through his sermon series covering the book of Mark, discussing Mark 15:16-39. Jesus takes on the sins of the world, is beaten, mocked, rejected, abandoned, and finally crucified so that we can be saved. Even in this time, He is still acknowledged as King, 3 days later conquers death itself, and then assumes His rightful place at the right hand of the Father.

The gospel is the good news that solves the Bad news. The Bad news is that God the perfect creator, created man to fellowship with him, enjoy him, and glorify him. But the first man Adam violated God by committing cosmic treason against him. Through his rebellion, sin entered the world along with al...

Today, Pastor Josh began teaching in Mark chapter 15, where where Christ goes before Pilate. While Christ is in fact our King, he still humbles himself as a servant King and entrusted himself to the will of God. He was falsely accused, scorned, mocked, and beaten brutally so that we might be saved through his sacrifice on the cross.

We'd love to see you this Sunday at 930 for Sunday School, and / or 1030 for our Sunday Service! Here's a sneak peek of what we'll be learning:

In Sunday School, brother Josh O. will continue through his series looking at 2 John, 3 John, and Jude. Specifically 3 John, where we see the Christian hospitality that flows from remaining in the Truth and the bounds of that hospitality as John illustrates to Gaius.

In Sunday Service, pastor Josh will continue his Mark series in Mark 15:1-20, where Christ goes before Pilate. While Christ is in fact our King, he still humbles himself as a servant King and entrusted himself to the will of God. He was falsely accused, scorned, mocked, and beaten brutally so that we might be saved through his sacrifice on the cross.

See you then!

This Sunday Pastor Josh finished teaching through Mark chapter 14, witnessing two trials unfold simultaneously: Jesus stands boldly before the high priest while Peter falters before a servant girl. When Jesus declares He is the Christ, the Son of God, we're confronted with a critical question. If Jesus truly is who He claims to be, there are only two possible responses: rebellion, which leads to ruin, or repentance, which leads to mercy. Peter's restoration reminds us that even when we fail, Jesus offers grace to those who turn back to Him.

We'd love to see you this Sunday at 930 for Sunday School, and / or 1030 for our Sunday Service! Here's a sneak peek of what we'll be learning:

Brother Zach will be wrapping up his Sunday School series on Salvation and Evangelism, teaching through Romans 9-10.

Pastor Josh will be preaching through the end of Mark 14, where we see Jesus on trial and Peter being questioned for his associations with Christ. In these two situations we realize the only two responses to Jesus being the Son of God - Rebellion, which leads to ruin, or repentance, which leads to mercy.

Today, we learned about Jesus' time in the Garden of Gethsemane in Mark 14:32-52. In this message, Pastor Josh explained how Jesus is the obedient Son who perfectly submits to the Father's will, even unto death. Where we fail in our obedience and falter in our faithfulness, Jesus succeeds completely. His obedience means He can bear our sin on the cross. While the disciples slept and later fled, Jesus remained steadfast, accomplishing what we could never do on our own.
