The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice. Rejoice in the Lord, you who are righteous, and praise his holy name.

Summary:

The Lord reigns. This is revealed in God’s creation and in those who love God. Yet, our personal idols can draw us away from God’s kingship. A new orientation is needed to remind us of the beautiful and loving power of God that guards us, delivers us, and gives us joy through Jesus.
