“Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable; it keeps no record of wrongs; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things” (1 Corinthians 13:4-7).

It's Holy Trinity Sunday and Youth Sunday!

Congratulations to our Youth on a successful Youth Sunday. You did a phenomenal job leading todays service in music and worship, prayers, serving as ushers, and communion assistants.

Our youth demonstrated the Trinity in the children's message, talking about community and relationship. Our circle gets wider when we invite others in, sharing Christ's love with all.

We also heard personal reflection from another youth on their faith journey and how important being part of a faith community is to support their journey.

Their gifts and talents shine brightly today - children's choir, praise band, artworks for the bulletin and powerpoint slides reflecting the Trinity and Creation story, together uplifting our worship service and inspiring us. We are truly blessed.

Though the word trinity is not found in the scriptures, today’s second reading includes the apostolic greeting that begins the liturgy: The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

In the gospel Jesus sends his disciples forth to baptize in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. More than a doctrine, the Trinity expresses the heart of our faith: we have experienced the God of creation made known in Jesus Christ and with us always through the Holy Spirit.

We celebrate the mystery of the Holy Trinity in word and sacrament, as we profess the creed, and as we are sent into the world to bear witness to our faith.

The Holy Trinity reminds us that relationship is woven into the very nature of God.

As Creator, God brings life into being. As Savior, God draws near in love and redemption. As Comforter, God remains present, guiding and sustaining us through every season.

At the heart of the Trinity is a relationship of love, shared, given, and received. Created in the image of this relational God, we are called to live in community, practice radical welcome, and care for one another as Christ cares for us.

On this Trinity Sunday, may we give thanks for the mystery of a God who creates, saves, comforts, and continually invites us into deeper relationship with God and one another.

Love is more than a feeling.
It is the daily work of showing patience, compassion, forgiveness, and care for one another.

In anxious and divided times, love becomes holy resistance against fear, cruelty, and isolation.

“Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.” -Colossians 3:14

May we bear Christ into the world by loving well: neighbors and strangers, communities and ourselves.

It was a joyful Pentecost Sunday and we worship and sang with all our hearts giving thanks for the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Build Your Kingdom Here
Let the darkness fear
Show your mighty hand
Heal our streets and land.
Set your church on fire
Win this nation back
Change the atmosphere
Build your kingdom here
We pray.

Pastor Appreciation and Farewell to Pastor Lehman.

Thank you for pouring so much love and faith into us. Your impact echoes in every prayer lifted up, sermon preached and every moment you choose to serve rather than be served. The gentle wisdom and kindness you offer to us have made a lasting difference in our lives.

Its hard to say goodbye but we do so knowing that the Holy Spirit is leading you to a new ministry to grow a community in Christ. As you step into this next calling, we send you with our deepest love and prayers.
May the Lord bless and keep you today and always. Amen.

From your faithful 'Sheeple' at Holy Trinity.
