“The atrium is a place of prayer in which work and study spontaneously become meditation, contemplation, and prayer.” -Sofia Cavalletti (co-foundress of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd)
The Atrium is a place prepared. It is a carefully designed, sacred, and peaceful space that nurtures the relationship between God and the child. It honors the child’s natural capacity for wonder and contemplation, creating an environment that offers quiet time to foster their relationship with the Good Shepherd, who knows and calls them each by name.
In honor of Good Shepherd Sunday, all are invited to come and tour the beautiful atria at St.John the Evangelist next weekend, April 24th & 25th and learn more about this amazing program!
