On Saturday Father José Rosa, O.S.B. and Father Francisco Whittaker, O.S.B. were ordained to the Holy Order of Priesthood and Brother Bosco Hough, O.S.B., Brother Bede Maxson, O.S.B., Brother Finnbar McEvoy, O.S.B. Deacon Xiaojian (Joseph) Wang and Deacon Xiaoguang (Joseph Peter) Zhang were ordained to the Holy Order of Diaconate.

Seven men will be ordained to the priesthood or the transitional diaconate at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 23 at Saint Vincent Archabbey Basilica, including five monks from the Archabbey and two seminarians from China. Ordaining prelate will be Most Rev. Edward M. Lohse, a 1988 Saint Vincent Seminary alumnus who is presently serving as Bishop of the Diocese of Kalamazoo, Michigan, and apostolic administrator of the Diocese of Steubenville, Ohio.

Day 11 was our last touring day in Ireland and it was a busy one. We started the day visiting the Rock of Cashel where Saint Patrick baptized kings. Next we went to Saint Brigid's Cathedral and Round Tower. Then it was off to see the Eternal Flame of Saint Brigid. Lastly, we went to one of Saint Brigid's wells where we dipped out sacrimentals into the holy waters. We ended the day with a closing Mass and group dinner.

Day 9 was a free day for us to explore Galway on our own. For me and my wife we walked to the Galway Aquarium. On the way we got to stop at the Spanish Arch commemorating the trade relationship between Ireland and Spain.
