Although we are a small group, we are able to reach out to the community in a big way. For instance, Women of Action, a small group of women, reach out to those in need by holding fundraisers throughout the year. n of Action is devoted to helping others by putting together 100 shoe boxes for Samaritan's Purse every year. The church sends boxes of needed items to soldiers, delivers food baskets for those in need during the holidays, has a free clothing ministry in the basement, offers free CDs of the pastor's testimony and weekly sermons, provide a free Christmas day dinner on Christmas, provides transportation to church services and activities, prepares a weekly newsletter with news not on the news, maintains a prayer chain, and gives out anointed prayer cloths. In addition to all of the outreach programs listed above, the church holds an annual community picnic on the last Saturday of August. The picnic involves a lunch at noon, games with prizes, and completes the day with praise and worship at 4pm.
