DR. KENNY WYNDELL ROSE
PASTOR AND FOUNDER OF UNITED BIBLE WAY CHURCH OF LANCASTER, INC. COUNSELOR, ADVISOR, CHURCH CONSULTANT AND ADJUNCT PROFESSOR
The Reverend Doctor Kenny Wyndell Rose serves as a Senior Guidance Counselor in the public schools of South Carolina. He is also a Licensed Independent Social Worker, Licensed Master Social Worker, and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, which allows
him to practice as a Psychologist. At South Carolina State University, he served as an Adjunct Professor in the Counselor Education Division. He formerly served as Director of the Counseling and Testing Center at Morris College for about ten years. While working at Morris College, where he served as Chief Counselor and Testing Officer, he supervised the programs of educational, social and personal counseling as well as the program of orientation of new students. He served as Director of Consultation Education, and Prevention Programs for the South Carolina Department of Mental Health for two years in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He also did consulting with Rock Hill School District III as a Group and Behavioral Therapist. A native of Sumter, South Carolina, Dr. Rose is a graduate of Morris College where he earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree. He later earned a Master of Arts Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from South Carolina State University. was conferred upon him from the Union Institute in the area of Specialization in Education Administration with two Interdisciplinary areas of Religious Studies and Counseling/Psychology Education. Dr Rose is the recipient of several local, statewide, regional and national awards. He holds membership in numerous professional, religious and fraternal organizations. He was named an Outstanding Young Man in America and was recognized as a "Positive Black Male Image" at the South Carolina Annual Black Male Showcase USA Image Awards. Dr. Rose is a life member of the NAACP and the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Dr. Rose is married to Angela Fonta Johnson Rose, a native of Lancaster, South Carolina and they are the proud parents of one son, Kendal DeAngelo Rose. Some of his favorite activities include: tennis, going fishing, basketball, soccer, roller skating, karate and community affairs. Above all that has been mentioned, he is a
