Day 4💡🪩💙💚💛🩷🩵💜
Today we had 88 kids and 52 volunteers!! The Russo/Blakley Small group fed us tacos!!🌮

Tomorrow is our last day of VBS/VBX and we are so sad!!! But we have learned so much this week that we can share with our friends and neighbors!! Tonight we learned how we can be saved, and live with God in eternity! We learned that God sent His perfect son Jesus from Heaven to live on earth as the promised one! He lived a life with no sin, and then died a death that we deserved on the cross.. They put Him in a tomb but 3 days later He ROSE AGAIN!!
All we have to do to be saved is, Admit to God that we are sinners and repent, Believe that Jesus is the perfect son of God, and to Confess that Jesus Christ is Savior and Lord!!!

We will see all the parents tomorrow!🩵

On day 3 (Superhero day), we had 88 kids and 52 volunteers!! So far this week, we have raised more than $195 for the Women’s Enrichment Center!!!! How awesome is that??

The Ledlow’s small group fed us an awesome hot dog dinner tonight, thanks y’all!!!

Day 2!🪩
Day 2 of VBS has come and gone! Tonight our question was, “Was Jesus just an ordinary man?” And the answer is “Jesus was the perfect son of God!” 🩷
We ended the night with 83 kids and 56 volunteers! The Robinson small group made dinner for us tonight, and it was YUMMY!!
Boys won the offering competition for tonight, girls don’t forget to bring your change tomorrow!!!
Our 1st/2nd grader group, YELLOW, brought home the mirror ball trophy tonight!💛

Day 1 of VBS/VBX was a blast!!! We have 78 kids, and 52 volunteers tonight, and we are so thankful for every single one!!
Tonight’s question was “Who is Jesus?” Jesus is the Messiah, the Promised Son of God!”
It’s not too late to join the fun!! Ages 4 and up from 5:30-8:30 tomorrow night!!

At New Horizon Community Church, we believe the mission is too important and the harvest is too great for any one person to accomplish alone.

Jesus did not call us to build our own platforms, protect our own preferences, or pursue our own agendas. He called us to make disciples, proclaim the gospel, and advance His Kingdom together.

Every ministry, every small group, every volunteer, every leader, every member, and every attender has a role to play. When we lock arms around the mission Christ has given us, something beautiful happens. Different gifts, different backgrounds, and different stories come together for one purpose: to know God and make Him known.

The strength of New Horizon is not found in a pastor, a program, or a building. It is found in God’s people working together under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

As Paul wrote, “We are God’s fellow workers” (1 Corinthians 3:9).

Let’s continue to serve together, pray together, give together, disciple together, and reach our community together. There is more work to be done, more people to reach, and more lives to see transformed by the power of the gospel.

The mission remains the same. Jesus is worthy. Let’s move forward together.

This year we will be doing the drop off and pick up line again!! 🪩🪩
This will get your kids in and out at a quick speed and keep them extra safe too!
⭐️You will get a pick up tag on the first day with your child’s name on it to display in your window at pick up!

Pick Up/ Drop Off Route:
⭐️The line will open for drop off at 5:10 and the doors will be open at 5:20!
⭐️The line will open for pick up at 8:00 and we will start sending kids to their cars right at 8:25pm!
⭐️Please use this line for both drop off and pick up! It keeps everyone extra safe!
⭐️Please enter through the entrance closest to the Collision Center off of Springdale Rd.
⭐️You will follow the marked line to the front of the building!
⭐️Your kiddos will be walked out of the front door and straight to your car!
⭐️If your child is in a car seat, one of our helpers can get them buckled in for you!
⭐️Once your child is in the car, you can pull out onto Great Falls HWY to exit!!

We are SO EXCITED for an amazing week of VBS!!💛💜💚🩵🤍🩷💙🪩

Graduation Sunday and Kid/Student Led worship was this past Sunday and it was so special!
Raina Rasch is graduating from Buford High School, Raina shared about her time in youth group and left encouragement to Savannah and Jenna our two girls headed from Kid’s ministry to Student ministry!
Multiple kids from both ministries shared Bible verses that they memorized this school year, joined the greeter team for the day, prayed over our service, led worship, and collected offering.
Here at NHCC, we have the goal for our Students to grow up Knowing God and Making Him Known, and Sunday morning was a great picture of exactly that!
