On Sunday at our 11:00 a.m. Mass, we had the honor of celebrating the Class of 2026 from Our Lady Queen of Peace!

We are so proud of each and every one of our graduates and all they have accomplished. As you begin this new chapter in life, we pray that God continues to guide your steps, bless your dreams, and lead you to great success.

Always keep God first in everything you do, and never forget where home is. No matter where life takes you, you will always have a home and family here at Our Lady Queen of Peace.

Our Youth Group had an amazing time celebrating the end of the year at Cajun Fast Track! From laughs and games to making memories together, it was the perfect way to wrap up a great year.

We’re already looking forward to everything God has in store for next year!

If you have a child ages 11–17 looking for a place to build friendships, have fun, grow in confidence, and get closer to God with other positive, like-minded kids, we would love to welcome them to our youth family.

This weekend at our parish, we joyfully celebrated the gift of motherhood — honoring not only our mothers on Mother’s Day weekend, but also our Blessed Mother Mary.

During our beautiful May Crowning, three of our young ladies who recently received their First Holy Communion had the special honor of crowning Mary, a reminder of her love, grace, and faithful “yes” to God.

As we continue to grow in faith, may Mother Mary guide our children and families closer to her Son, Jesus Christ.

Last night’s Easter Vigil was truly a beautiful and spirit-filled celebration!

We joyfully welcomed three new members into the Church through our OCIA program. Congratulations to our newly baptized: Quincy Love Jr., Aamiyah Grandigo, and Christi Carter. Your new life in Christ has begun, and we celebrate with you!

We also celebrate the confirmation of Kiona Francis, Jerona Robinson, and one De’Janae Aubrey. May the Holy Spirit continue to guide and strengthen each of you on your journey of faith.

Tonight we celebrated the Mass of the Lord’s Supper, beginning the Sacred Triduum.

We remembered the Last Supper, witnessed the washing of the feet as a sign of humble service, and ended in quiet adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

Let us continue to walk with the Lord through His Passion. Join us today at 3pm for our Good Friday service.
