It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved School Board President, Ms. Eva Andrews. Her unexpected departure is a profound loss for our district and community. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and friends during this difficult time.

In honor of Ms. Andrews, we will hold a moment of silence today at 1:00 p.m. We invite you to join us in remembering her dedicated service and reflecting on her positive impact.

A HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO GOD!

Pastor Rodney Robertson Jr. and the entire Empowering Life Baptist Church family would like to take this opportunity to THANK AND PRAISE GOD for allowing us to come together in unity and fellowship for these three powerful nights of revival!

To God be all the glory for what He has done in our midst! During these three nights, our souls were fed, our lives were impacted, our minds were renewed, and our spiritual strength was refreshed. We are grateful for the revival that has taken place within us through the PEACE OF GOD, THE GRACE OF GOD, AND THE MERCY OF GOD!

We extend our sincere appreciation to the man of God, Rev. Paul Pleasant, for his willingness to be a vessel in the hands of the Lord. Thank you for allowing God to use you mightily over these three nights as you stood boldly and faithfully proclaiming the GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ. Through your ministry, we were reminded that our God is rich in mercy, abundant in grace, unfailing in love, and the source of true peace.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to every member, visitor, friend, and supporter who joined us and participated throughout these three nights of revival. Your presence, prayers, and participation helped make this gathering a meaningful time of worship, fellowship, and spiritual renewal.
We thank God for each of you!

Our prayer is that the Word of God will continue to REST, RULE, AND ABIDE ABUNDANTLY in your hearts and lives—not just for today, but for the rest of your lives. May the seeds planted during this revival take root, produce lasting fruit, strengthen your faith, and draw you closer to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

As Colossians 3:16 (KJV) encourages us:
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom…”
May the peace of God guard your hearts, may the grace of God sustain you, and may the mercy of God follow you all the days of your lives!
