“Blessing of the Bikes was a monumental success for Riverside. We had a full house — everyone engaged in worship, the message was well-presented and warmly received, and our outreach team outdid themselves once again. The cookies from the Ladies' Bible Class were over the top, the sound and music from Randy and Janelle were deeply meaningful, the bike ride built genuine camaraderie, and the cleanup team had everything handled before the bikers even returned. Our out-of-town guests had the time of their lives, and the food was simply outstanding.

Most importantly, God gets all the honor. New families were exposed to the gospel and experienced the heart of Riverside — and we are especially grateful that 3 to 4 individuals expressed a desire to join us in serving Fightingville. To Him be all the glory.” -Johan

What a good God we serve! Easter is for Everyone 2026 was an amazing time spent with our church family and our community! As always we are grateful to Fightingville Fresh for letting us use their space as we serve food, worship the Lord, and share the renewed life we have in Christ with one another. We are already excited for next year and can't wait to see how God works through us over the next year!

For over 2 years, we've been showing up on the first Sunday of every month to cook, serve, worship, and build community at the Fightingville Fresh Farmers Market. What started small has grown to over 100 people gathering for a meal, message, and connection.

It's church without the building. It's gathering with God's creation. It's serving Lafayette where it really matters.

We are so blessed by the relationships that allow us to serve in this way and want to thank those that make it possible. First to Fightingville Fresh for letting us use the space. We love what they do to support local growers and empower people to be part of the solution to food scarcity in our neighborhoods. Next, to the businesses and groups across Acadiana who have stepped up to sponsor a meal. If you have a heart for building community in this way, reach out—we would love to chat about how you can get involved. And last but certainly not least, to each person who has walked through the gate, shared a meal, said hi, smiled and waved, or connected in any way during these services.

What started as a simple idea to do things a little differently has become one of the most life-giving things we do, and we're so glad you're part of it.

We have been monitoring the incoming winter weather, and it seems the freeze isn't expected until tomorrow night, so we WILL be open tomorrow.

Please use your best judgment about traveling based on conditions in your area, but we'll be here ready to worship with those who can make it safely!

Wow!!

During December we hosted a food drive for The Hub Lafayette-Urban Ministries and you all showed up!! We filled the back of an SUV with your donations and brought them over to The Hub this morning as they prepared to open their doors to the friends that benefit from their programs.

It was wonderful to meet more of their team, see the space, lend a hand stocking and organizing shelves, and start planning how else Riverside can be in their corner throughout the year as they serve and give purpose to a community of people who are often overlooked.

We are grateful to The Hub for all they do, and for those of you who donated, making it all possible.

There are many ways to Serve Your City, and we can't wait to help you find more opportunities to do so!
