This week is Trinity Sunday - it really is a mystery! How can God be 1 and 3 at the same time, and what does that mean for us? See if you can spot Father Son & Holy Spirit in the chosen scriptures!

This week’s message will be given by Rev. Dick Hooton. “In the Beginning, God” will be based on these scriptures: Genesis 1: 1-5, 24-27 and Romans 8: 26-39.

During the 40 days following Jesus’ death, he appeared to his disciples and talked with them about the Kingdom of God. He gave them instructions to wait in Jerusalem for the gift that was promised by God. According to Webster’s dictionary, to wait is to remain inactive, stay in place, or pause in expectation of a specific event, person , or turn, typically until something happens. How do you handle waiting?
This Sunday is Ascension Sunday. “In the Waiting Room” is the title of Rev. Hooton’s message this week. The scriptural basis for the sermon will be Acts 1:1-11 and Isaiah 40:1-8, 21-31. Join us for worship at 11:00 AM as we wait to feel God’s presence.

Someone to Watch Over Me
In salvation history, there have always been mothers whom God guided through trials, faith struggles, good times and times of difficulty with cultural challenges. He helped them make a difference in the lives of their families. Today they are still a source of strength as we study their personal stories.

Sermon: “Someone to Watch Over Us.”

Scripture: 1 Samuel 2: 1-10 and John 14: 15-21.
