"Calm down and be quiet."
That's not advice we expect to hear in the middle of a crisis, but it's exactly what God told King Ahaz when fear had taken hold of his heart.
In Isaiah 7, Judah faced a terrifying threat, yet God reminded His people that their security was not found in their circumstances, but in Him. Then he gave them a powerful warning and promise:
"If you do not stand firm in your faith, then you will not stand at all."
When fear rises, trust Jesus. When circumstances feel overwhelming, trust His plan, His perspective, and His power.
