Eric Hernandez, one of our seminarians sponsored by Wisdom, will be ordained to the diaconate this Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 10 AM at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist. Our Lady of Wisdom will host Eric Hernandez' Mass of Thanksgiving this Saturday at 4 PM, followed by a reception in Jeanmard Hall. This will be his first preached Mass! Please come support Eric and keep him in your prayers as he prepares for ordination.

Eric was born in New Orleans and is a graduate of Lafayette High School. He earned a degree in Philosophy from St. Joseph Seminary College in St. Benedict, La. He is completing his theological studies at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Eric Hernandez is the son of Ronald Hernandez and Michelle Hernandez.
