Blessing of the New School Year + School Supply Drive

This Sunday, August 9, we’ll take time in worship at First Presbyterian Church of Lafayette to offer a Blessing of the New School Year for students, teachers, administrators, school staff, families, schools, and school supplies.

As a new school year begins, we want to surround all who teach, learn, support, and care with prayer, encouragement, and love.

We’ll also be receiving book sacks/backpacks and school supplies to share with local students in need.

Donations may be dropped off:
- In the church office Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM through this Friday
- Or Sunday morning before worship (and come to Meet & Greet at 10:30 am while you're at it!)

The service begins at 11:00 AM this Sunday!

Whether you come to receive a blessing, bring supplies, or both, we would love to welcome you.

Let’s help send our students, teachers, and families into the new year with hope, support, and a reminder that they do not go alone. 💙
