Tomorrow at Compassion Church it is FRIEND DAY as we kickoff our I LOVE MY CHURCH & CITY MISSIONS WEEK.

Bring a friend to church tomorrow.
We are grateful to God that we are often reminded at church as souls are getting saved of the powerful truth that ONE INVITE CAN CHANGE SOMEBODY’S LIFE FOREVER.
Share a church invite by text or on social media with this graphic/info about church tomorrow. Personally invite your coworkers, neighbors, friends, and family that don’t currently have a church home.

Statistics show that about 75% of people are open to attending church if personally invited.

Be sure to look at your schedule this coming week and see if you can sign up (by text or email) for at least one of the slots to go out into our community with Pastor Paul to invite others to church and share the gospel. There will also be a sign-up sheet at the connect tent tomorrow.
We have extra “I love my church and city” shirts for people to purchase for $10 tomorrow if you don’t have one already.

Next up for our daily leadership spotlight is Bro. Daniel Neal.

Pastor Daniel serves as our Worship Pastor on our pastoral staff team. He has a heart that desires to follow the Lord’s leading as he leads us in worship in every church service. Daniel makes it all about the Lord as we sing praises to Him together. He also leads our worship teams and equipment setup teams each week. 
Daniel and Brook serve the Lord with love and passion as they are always willing to jump in to help wherever there is a need. Their family is such encouragement to our church.

On behalf of Pastor Paul, our leadership team, and our church family, we say thank you to the Neal’s for all they do at Compassion. We love y’all!

Bro. Dave McGinnis is up next for our daily leadership spotlight!

Pastor Dave serves as our Connections Pastor on our pastoral staff team. He leads our greeters ministry and hospitality teams. He loves to share God’s Word and has a passion to help people get connected at church.

Dave and Dana are hard workers for the Lord and have such a servant’s heart to serve Him. They love the Lord and love people. Their entire family are a blessing to our church family.

Since it is his birthday today it only seems appropriate that Bob McCurry is our daily leadership spotlight today.
Bob serves as our sound guy and jumps in to help wherever needed.

Bob and Becca are such a testimony of God’s strength and His faithfulness. They encourage so many people with their heart to serve the Lord together.

We praise the Lord for saving one soul this morning during the invitation!🙌🏼👏🏼
Help us welcome Naomi to the family of God. We are proud of her and we look forward to helping her take her next steps as a new follower of Jesus.
We rejoice also with one young adult that joined our church this morning after taking our next steps membership class.

Pastor Paul preached a powerful message entitled, “When The Devil Is Ok With You Praying” from Matthew 21:12-17 this morning.
At the conclusion of the sermon, we launched our prayer ministry that will be a helpful tool for us to be more intentional in equipping our church family to pray effectively together as a church and in our own personal prayer life.
