𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀! With support from the Trinity Health Foundation of East Tennessee, we're launching the first phase of a Community Care Hub initiative designed to connect people with healthcare and other supportive services that can help them move toward greater stability.

This initiative builds on the work already happening at The Salvation Army of Knoxville, where our goal is to help individuals experiencing housing insecurity move toward lasting stability. Access to healthcare is a critical part of that journey, as untreated medical needs can become barriers to employment, housing, and long-term self-sufficiency.

This project builds on partnerships and planning that have been in the works for some time. We're excited to take this next step forward!

We celebrated National Donut Day yesterday by visiting veterans at Ben Atchley Tennessee State Veterans' Homes. We had such a wonderful time meeting the men and women there and hearing their stories of service and sacrifice.

🍩 The Salvation Army Lassies stepped onto the front lines of WWI with one mission: bring comfort where it was most needed.

A warm doughnut became a reminder that someone cared, and that one act of love has rippled through generations.

Today, hundreds of families across The Salvation Army Knoxville find comfort, support, and hope through our emergency assistance services and summer camp.
