Tonight's message from Romans 15:1-7 challenged believers to examine whether they have a critical spirit or a Christ-like spirit. Looking at the example of Christ, Pastor Byron Chesney emphasized the importance of bearing one another's burdens, building up fellow believers, and maintaining unity within the church. Rather than focusing on our own preferences or criticizing others, Christians are called to edify, encourage, and receive one another just as Christ has received us, all for the glory of God.

Pastor Byron's message from Exodus 19:1-6, Pastor Byron Chesney examines God's declaration to Israel, "I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself." Through the illustration of an eagle caring for its young, we see how God carries, protects, and guides His people through life's challenges. This encouraging sermon reminds believers that God often uses seasons of discomfort to draw us closer to Himself and teaches us that we are His treasured possession.

Pastor Byron's Memorial Day message is titled “Will Anybody Remember?”, Pastor Byron preaches from Joshua 3 and 4 on the importance of remembering the faithfulness of God and the sacrifices of those who stood before us. As Israel built memorial stones after crossing Jordan, Christians today are reminded of the responsibility to honor the old paths while building a testimony future generations can look back upon and remember. This message is a challenge to stand fast in the truth in a world that is quickly forgetting it.

Wednesday, May 20, 2026, Livestream. Special singing: Bro. Scott Buchanan (I Can't Even Walk Without You Holding My Hand).
Pastor Byron's message is from Romans 14:13-23 and is titled, "Sinful Christian Liberty." In this sermon, he examines the balance between Christian liberty and Christian responsibility, warning against both harsh legalism and careless living. Using practical examples and clear biblical teaching, the message challenges believers to avoid becoming a stumbling block to others, to pursue peace within the church, and to remember that “whatsoever is not of faith is sin.” This sermon is a timely reminder that our testimony, our conduct, and our love for fellow believers matter greatly in the eyes of both God and the world.

Pastor Byron's message, "Standing When the World Changes Around You" from Daniel 1:8 and Romans 12:2 emphasizes the importance of remaining faithful to God in a culture that is rapidly moving away from biblical truth. Through the example of Daniel, this sermon challenges believers to stand with conviction, resist compromise, and stay grounded in the Word of God no matter how much the world changes around them.
