Today is Good Shepherd's first day in hosting the Knoxville Street Medicine Outreach clinic. If you know of anyone without insurance who needs to be seen by a physician, please direct them to our parish hall from 1 pm to 4 pm. There will also be a group of Good Shepherd members on hand to welcome folks and offer our hospitality!

A sea of red as Good Shepherd celebrated Pentecost last Sunday along with honoring our graduates and the summer opening of Cafe Good Shepherd!

Wear RED for our Pentecost services at 8:30 & 10am tomorrow, May 24. (Please note the time change for the late service!)

Between services, Cafe Good Shepherd will be serving some delicious food and wonderful company.

In addition to all the Pentecost festivities which include balloons, streamers, and birthday cake, we will also recognize and honor our graduates during the services.

Great plant sale today at Good Shepherd for an even better cause -- Tennessee Interfaith Power & Light. The sale is from 1 pm to 4 pm in the lower parking lot. Plants are already being swooped up so stop by soon! They have everything from shade to sun-loving plants; assortment of natives and ornamentals; and herbaceous and shrubs -- something for every garden!

Congratulations to this year's senior prize recipients! At the final community lunch of the academic year, Dean Turrell presented awards to graduating seniors who have achieved special distinctions during their studies. These are: The Annual Episcopal Preaching Foundation Award: Gary Fetter; The George Thomas Shettle Prize for Liturgical Reading: The Rev. Adam Ballintoy; The School of Theology Prize in Biblical Studies:The Rev. Adelle Dennis; The School of Theology Prize in Theology and Ethics: The Rev. Adelle Dennis; The School of Theology Prize in Historical Studies: The Rev. Jurinesz Shadrach; The School of Theology Prize in Practical Theology: Liam Nieman and The School of Theology Prize in Community Service: Austin Puckett. Congratulations to all!
