Good morning friends. May Your day be filled with His love and power today.

John 14:6, he says “ I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the father except through me”

Thank Him today for directing your life today and everyday.

Hope everyone is having a great day! Part #3 of grieving

Why do we need to grieve hurts?

Because if we don’t grieve we get stuck emotionally, and we spend the rest of our life reacting to something that happened a long time ago and taking it out on the people around us. That’s unhealthy!

David talked about this in Psalm 32:3 “ When I kept things to myself, I felt weak deep inside me. I moaned all day long”.

The bad things that happen to us are not our choice. But grief isa choice. We’ve got to let ourselves mourn losses so that we can move forward to emotional and spiritual health.

May we walk in health zones and let God heal us!,

Have a blessed evening and may the joy of the Lord be your strength.

Good morning we will continue on part 2 of grief.

2. Grief is essential to our health

If we never grieve over anything, it means one of three things.

A. We are out of touch with reality

B. We are out of touch with our own emotions

C. Or we don’t know how to love ( when we love and see sad things, grief is a natural response)

Grief is a healthy and helpful emotion. And it’s Gods gift that helps us get through the transitions of life.

May be we were hurt many years ago growing up. Maybe our parents divorced. Maybe we were abused. Amber we were hurt by something somebody said about us. As a child we may not knew how to grieve in a healthy way, so we buried it deep down inside us.

We need to release all our hurts and situations to Jesus.

Tonight we finish part three of grieving. Have a blessed day we love you all.

Good afternoon to all of our great friends. We had great service this morning and enjoyed the ministry of Bob Strobel preaching the word with song also.

This afternoon we want to share a topic that has come through our email on the subject of grief. (by Pastor Rick Warren)

Ecclesiastes 3: 1-4 (NIV)

“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens……. A time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance”

Life is tough. The world is broken, and nothing works perfectly. Your body doesn’t work perfectly, the weather doesn’t work perfectly, the economy doesn’t work perfectly, and no relationship works perfectly. Life is full of losses.

As we learn to rise above life’s inevitable losses, we need to understand a couple of truths that will give us better perspective.

1. God doesn’t expect us to be happy all the time

There is the myth that Christians should be always smiling, always happy, always cheerful.

But the Bible says there is a time for everything…….. in our text!!!!

Sometimes the only appropriate, logical response to life is grief. The Bible says we should grieve over our losses, including our disappointments, our sin, the suffering in the world, and our friends who are spiritually lost. God doesn’t expect us to be happy all the time. In fact, He wants us to be intentional in our grief.

Tomorrow we will continue more on this subject of grief and how God can help us. Blessings on you tonight and may He give to rest, peace and comfort. We love you all, ❤️❤️
