The man God uses is a man who knows how to work. If your sitting and waiting on God you may end up sitting for a long time. The answer is to work, Whatever you do do it heartily to the Lord. It is then God will tap you on the Shoulder and give you more significant task.

And who is he that will harm you, if you be followers of that which is good? 1 Peter 3:13

If you seek first the kingdom of God, if you live for heaven, you'll find that, although people may hurt you, no one can harm you. Because those who live for heaven have an entirely different perspective on life and take a lot more things less seriously.

Knowing he would never again see these men this side of heaven, Paul said, I commend you to God. The same is true of our kids and the people we serve. We feed, warn, and love them. But ultimately ,we must say , God, they're yours.

My help comes from the Lord which made heaven and earth. Psalm 121:2

Before Jesus fed a hungry multitude with a boy's lunch, He lifted His eyes to heaven and gave thanks Matt.14:19. The night before He was crucified John 17:1 tells us He lifted His eyes to the Father and prayed. Jesus looked up to His Father and received the very help He needed.

Give yourself to Him completely. Why? Because of what he did for you. It's truly reasonable to give yourself to the Lord to say, I'm laying my life down for you, Lord, because you gave yourself for me.
