Before we give, we receive. Before we pour out, we are invited to be filled by the goodness of God. The love we have in Christ is not something we earn or manufacture, it is a gift to be received, rested in, and delighted in.

What might change if we began our generosity there? Not with what we lack, but with the abundance of what we have already been given.
