Today we celebrate the Feast of St. Monica, a woman whose persistent prayer, fasting, and love helped lead her son, St. Augustine, back to the Catholic faith. Tomorrow, we celebrate the feast of St. Augustine—whose conversion is a beautiful reminder that God never stops working in the hearts of those we love.

Inspired by St. Monica’s example, St. Patrick Church is excited to introduce our new St. Monica Ministry—a dedicated community and prayer network offering hope, encouragement, and support to families and friends of loved ones who have fallen away from the Catholic faith.
⁣
Following St. Monica’s example, members pray, fast, and care for their loved ones, trusting that God is always at work—even when we cannot yet see the fruits of our prayers. If someone you love has left the Church, you are not alone. Come pray with us and place your loved one into the loving hands of God.
