Rally Day is this Sunday, September 13! Join us for Worship outside at 9:30 AM with lunch following. Invite a friend, and sign up for the picnic, and sign your children up for the Sunday School year if you still need to do that. We look forward to gathering as a church family!

Rally Day Picnic

On Rally Day, we will be having an outdoor worship at 9:30 followed by a Rally Day picnic. This is both an event for us here at St. Michael to celebrate who we are as a family of faith, but also an opportunity to invite others to come and join us and see who we are. Please join us after service for a picnic lunch in the fellowship hall or in the area surrounding it. Church will provide burgers, dogs, and fried chicken. Sign up online if you’d like to bring a side or dessert. Feel free to bring a lawn chair or blanket – otherwise we’ve got a seat waiting for you!

In the Footsteps of Paul: A Pilgrimage to Greece

Pastor David will be leading a trip to Greece April 6-17, 2027, which will follow the ministry of Paul as he announced the message of Jesus to the Gentile world. This is a trip designed around the places Paul began churches and ministered in Acts. It's sponsored by Good Shepherd travel who led Pastor David’s pilgrimage to Israel back in January. They really do an amazing job: great hotels, amazing food, and every detail was taken care of. There is a hard copy and electronic brochure available for more information. Please see Pastor David if you're interested or have questions. There will be an informational meeting on June 25 at 7 PM via Zoom for anyone who has questions and to get an overview of the trip.

Hey Parents/Guardians...Children's Sunday School begins on September 13! It's time to register your children for 2026-2027 Sunday School! Registering helps us to staff classes with caring teachers and to provide adequate supervision and supplies.

All children ages 4 through grade 6 are invited and encouraged to join for a time of fellowship, faith, and fun at Sunday School. We meet during the 10:00 am worship service immediately following the Children's Chat. On September 13, there will be only one service at 9:30 am. Sunday School will be held at that time immediately following the Children's Chat.

Chancel Choir Rehearsals
Thursdays at 7:30 PM, starting September 17

St. Michael Chancel Choir, for adults and high school students, will begin rehearsals on Thursday, September 17, 7:30-9:00 PM in the Choir Room, and resume musical leadership of our worship services on Sunday, September 20. We also rehearse Sunday mornings before service at 9:00 - 9:45 AM. The choir will work on SATB anthems of varying styles from Renaissance through the present day. We will also present the beautiful Saint-Saens 'Christmas Oratorio' at the December 13 worship service.

All are welcome! You do not need to be a trained singer or expert music-reader to have a voice in our choir, and you do not need to commit to every week or every rehearsal. Please speak to Music Director Donna Beech for more information.

Faith & Foam
Wednesday, September 9, 7:00 PM

Join us as we resume Faith and Foam after our summer break. We will gather at Braeloch Brewing at 7:00 PM. We meet every 2nd Wednesday of the month to discuss different topics and ideas on our faith over food and b**r/ w**e (optional). Hope you can be with us. EVERYONE IS WELCOME!!!!!

Sarajean's Installation
September 12, 2:00 PM

Pastor Sarajean Grainson will be installed as Pastor of Zion Lutheran church in Leola, PA on Saturday, September 12 at 2:00 PM.

She and Rev. Jim Goodyear, who is the dean of the conference, will preside. Pastor David will be the preacher for the day. There will be a reception afterward. Everyone is welcome to join us.

Both Men's and Women's Bible Study groups will be studying the action-packed and God-centered book of Exodus this year. Please consider joining one of these groups...you are welcome, no matter what your personal beliefs and experience in bible study. Led by the Spirit, we learn from authors, pastors, and from each other. Our hope is to grow in fellowship, faith, and understanding.

MBS begins Exodus on September 12 and WBS begins on September 14. Please speak to Jaymie or Steve Lacombe if you are interested.

Children's Choir is rebooting this Fall!

Children in grades 1 through 6 are invited to weekly 30-minute rehearsals in the choir room, beginning Sunday, October 4 immediately after the 10:00 AM service. We will learn songs to share in the Nov. 1 and Nov. 22 services, as well as a Christmas presentation for Dec. 20. Contact our Music Director Donna Beech for more details.

Youth Group & Confirmation Lock in: FED TO FEED
September 19-20, 2:00 PM

Youth are invited to a special overnight lock-in on September 19–20 . Students will fast beginning at 8:00 AM Saturday, spend the evening growing in faith through prayer, worship, mindfulness, and team-building, then break the fast by receiving Holy Communion together at the 8:00 AM Sunday worship service. After breakfast, they'll join the congregation in packing meals through 2:00 PM, living out Christ's call to love and serve our neighbors. Come grow as a disciple, serve with your church family, and help feed the world—one meal at a time.
