THANK YOU to everyone who prayed for our Mission Team over the past several days. Your prayers were definitely felt. We ended our time in the DR visiting a few families and blessing them with groceries and bunk beds for a few of the Samuels Fund Children. Please continue to pray for STCHM International as they host many more teams over the summer.
Remember that you are blessed to be a blessing no matter where you’re at my friends. ❤️ 💙

Wednesday Prayer Request:
Our mission team heads home today. Our flight out of Santa Domingo is at 4:30pm.
This morning we will be doing grocery deliveries and delivering several of the bunk beds we made. Pray that the families will be blessed and that our team will have a safe trip home.

The days are all running together and it’s hard to remember what day it is 🙃

Sunday was a wonderful day though! Matt Singleton shared a powerful message and Chase lead a group in the special music.
In the afternoon we had the privilege of leading 30 ladies from the church in a Moms Paint Party 🎨 💐 and they had such a great time relaxing and creating.
We ended our Sunday attending the youth service where we got to listen to Jose share his testimony of Gods goodness in his life.

Today (Monday) we traveled to La Romana Boys Orphanage where we spent the day hanging out with 13 boys. We played games, did a vision clinic, painted a mural, and ended our time together enjoying ice cream Sundays! 🍦😋
Thank you to all our ladies at FBC Kenedy for the sock donations! 🙌🏼 They were so grateful.
God is good my friends and He is definitely at work in the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴

Sunday prayer request:
Pray for Matt Singleton as he brings the message in the DR and for Chase as he leads a special.
This afternoon we will also be leading a paint party for about 30 ladies. Pray that it goes well and they will be blessed by our time together. 🎨 💗

Wednesday and Thursday were fast and furious. 🙃
Twos day full of travel, unpacking, construction, vision clinic, construction again, world hunger shopping, EBDV (VBS) and then dinner at church members homes. It has been a great two days reconnecting with old friends and making new ones.

Our dear friend, Joy Nowlin, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 8, 2026 at her home in Kenedy, Texas. Services are scheduled for Friday, June 19, at Eckols Funeral Home in Kenedy with visitation from 10:00 - 11:00 am and a memorial service at 11:00 am.
