✨ UPLCII Missions Update – La Ginebra, Guatemala 🇬🇹 ✨

We are excited to share that progress is coming along beautifully on the new Missionary House and the patio for outdoor services in La Ginebra! 🙌 This new space will soon be able to accommodate 200+ people for worship, fellowship, and community gatherings.

Con mucho gozo compartimos que el progreso avanza muy bien en la nueva Casa Misionera y en el patio para los servicios al aire libre en La Ginebra! 🙌 Muy pronto este nuevo espacio podrá recibir a más de 200 personas para adorar, convivir y reunirse como comunidad.

✨ Praise Report! ✨

Back in May, UPLCII Missions had the opportunity to sow into the completion of a pastoral home in Ghana and today we rejoice in answered prayer! 🙌🏼

We just received the wonderful news that the home is officially finished and it’s beautiful! 🏡💛

This would not have been possible if it weren’t for the Lord making a way and for the many UPLCII churches and individuals who gave so generously. Your obedience and heart for the Kingdom are making an eternal impact!

Thank you, Jesus, for providing every need and for allowing us to be part of what You're doing through Your Church around the world. Let this home be a place of rest, vision, and ministry for years to come.

¡Acabamos de recibir la maravillosa noticia de que la casa está oficialmente terminada y está hermosa! 🏡💛

Esto no habría sido posible si no fuera por el Señor abriendo camino y por las muchas iglesias e individuos de UPLCII que dieron tan generosamente. ¡Su obediencia y corazón por el Reino están dejando un impacto eterno!

Gracias, Jesús, por proveer cada necesidad y por permitirnos ser parte de lo que estás haciendo a través de Tu Iglesia alrededor del mundo. Que esta casa sea un lugar de descanso, visión y ministerio por muchos años.

Please join me in keeping this amazing Mission Team in prayer as they serve in West Africa this week! 🇹🇬 🇧🇯 🇨🇩 🇬🇭

They’ve traveled far from home to be the hands and feet of Jesus — sharing the Gospel, encouraging local churches, feeding the hungry, and being a light in communities that are hungry for hope. 🕊️

Let’s pray for:

•Strength and protection as they travel and minister

•Open hearts and divine appointments

•That God’s love would be seen, felt, and known through their presence

We are so proud of their willingness to GO and to SERVE. This is what the Great Commission looks like in action. 🙌

Remembering the Brave This Memorial Day

Today, we pause to honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice made it possible for us to live in freedom—and for organizations like ours to continue the work of spreading the Gospel and the love of Christ around the world.

As we reflect on their legacy, we’re reminded that real courage looks like service, sacrifice, and putting others first. That’s what we strive for every day—carrying the message of hope, truth, and salvation to those who need it most.

Let’s take time today to remember, to be grateful, and to live in a way that honors their gift.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” – John 15:13

Recordando a los Valientes este Día de los Caídos

Hoy hacemos una pausa para honrar a los hombres y mujeres que dieron su vida al servicio de nuestro país. Su sacrificio nos permite vivir en libertad, y también continuar con el trabajo de compartir el Evangelio y el amor de Cristo en todo el mundo.

Al reflexionar sobre su legado, recordamos que el verdadero valor se muestra en el servicio, el sacrificio y en poner a los demás primero. Eso es lo que buscamos cada día: llevar el mensaje de esperanza, verdad y salvación a quienes más lo necesitan.

Tomémonos un momento hoy para recordar, agradecer y vivir de una manera que honre ese gran regalo.

On behalf of the Missions Department - UPLCII, we would like to lend our deepest condolences to Sister Eva Faragoza and their children, Laura, Roy and Lucas for the passing of Reverend Rogelio Faragoza Sr. His life was a testament to faith, compassion, and unwavering dedication to his family, Emmanuel Christian Church, the UPLCII and his community.

He touched the lives of so many with his kindness, wisdom, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May you find comfort in the knowledge that he is fully healed and whole in the presence of our Lord Jesus... and know that one day we will reunite once again.
