Hey ! Don't forget we have a lot happening tomorrow.

🍇🍞We are breaking bread and sharing stories together during our at 10am. Bring a dish and bring a friend.

💙🩵We are honoring and sending Susan and Mike Manfredi as they continue their story of loving and serving Jesus in a new chapter in Florida.

🗑♻️We are reviving our community through our Adopt-a-Block trash pickup right after service. Bring gloves or grabbers and wear your River Church Family shirt. Vests and trash bags will be provided.

We can't wait to worship the Lord in community with tomorrow! See you soon!

Some encounters with God are so powerful that words barely begin to capture them—and Pentecost was one of those moments.🔥🕊️

The author Luke describes the disciples’ first encounter with the Holy Spirit using imagery of wind and fire, symbols of God’s powerful and cleansing presence. ❤️‍🔥

It wasn’t meant to be a perfect explanation, but an honest attempt to describe an indescribable experience of God at work. 🙌

That moment didn’t just change the disciples—it launched the church and equipped it for witness and mission. 🌎

Through the Holy Spirit, the disciples could proclaim the wonders of God, marking a key moment in salvation history. ✝️
