THIS IS MY EXODUS
Stuck in Temporary Displacement

Have you ever been in a place that was never supposed to be your final destination, but you stayed so long it started feeling like home?

Israel went to Egypt because of famine—not because God’s promise had failed. God provided Goshen as a temporary place while He prepared Canaan, their promised place.

And here’s the lesson:

Just because God is sustaining you somewhere doesn’t mean He’s telling you to settle there.

Goshen was good. God blessed them there. But Goshen was never Canaan.

Sometimes we mistake God’s provision for God’s destination.

The relationship was temporary.
The job was temporary.
The season was temporary.
The place was temporary.

Don’t make a permanent home out of a temporary season.

God may be sustaining you while He prepares what He promised you.
