“Thankfulness to God is a recognition that God in His goodness and faithfulness has provided for us and cared for us, both physically and spiritually. It is a recognition that we are totally dependent upon Him; that all that we are and have comes from God.”

"Praise the Lord! Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!" ~ Psalm 106:1

Waiting on God is the best thing that we can do!

Psalm 27:14 says “Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” It not only tells us to wait patiently for the Lord, but it states it two times! Regardless of the situation, regardless of the level of fear that we have, we are to wait patiently for the Lord to do what He will do. That posture of waiting is probably the most important thing that we can do in our lives.
So, step aside and let God be God. If we can give him the opportunity to move in both our lives and in the lives of others, it could turn out to be the most amazing thing ever!

Christian Liberty
Gal 5:1-6
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all. Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law. You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. For through the Spirit we eagerly await by faith the righteousness for which we hope. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.

We have liberty to do what we want but there consequences for doing so. Count up the cost. If I give you a piece of my mind, I need to be aware that I may need that piece back later. Instead, give them a kind word.
We have the freedom to pray, to give, worship and serve God from the heart.

Physical circumcision profits nothing.
We are no longer bound by chains.
We are to preach the gospel to those who are bound by the world. I don’t have to be a CALLED preacher but each of us IS called to preach wherever we are. People know God’s spirit is upon us.

We are fee from the law, the curse, from corruption, bo***ge of man, and death. Jesus death and resurrection removed the sting from death. We should not be afraid of it. The word tells us where we will be when we die - present with God.
God has set us free so we can set others free.

All saints should praise God for the liberties He has given to us. Stand fast in the liberty in which he has given.

Praise the Lord. Psalm 34:1-3
I bless God every chance I get;
my lungs expand with his praise.
2 I live and breathe God;
if things aren’t going well, hear this and be happy:
3 Join me in spreading the news;
together let’s get the word out.

The word says worthy is the Lord to receive blessings, honor and glory. He took on everything I should have been punished for and bore it on his shoulders at the cross. I ought to praise Him because of His majesty. He has shown us great things for me that NO ONE ELSE could do. His greatness is unsearchable.

Praise Him because He is Holy,
Praise Him because of His wisdom. To God our Savior who alone is wise, to be glory, majesty, dominion and power.
Praise Him for salvation and deliverance.
Praise Him for protection. He hasn’t turned me over to my enemies. It’s not ADT, Protection One, Brinks, or others, it’s God who protects me.
Praise Him because He answers prayer.

Rejoice in the Lord and again I say rejoice.

God’s Protection Plan Ps 121:1-4

The protection offered by God to believers is much different than what is offered by ADT or Protection One. If we miss paying a bill from ADT our receipt of services may be interrupted. As long as we are believers who are obedient and faithful to Him, God promises never to leave or forsake us. His protection plan provides us refuge from the storm and a defense against the enemy.

Regardless of whether times are good or bad we are to look to the hills from where our help comes from...the Lord!!

Phil 3:12-16
“Keep Going, Don’t Stop”

Everyone has their own race to run. We’ve each come to run a particular race or event. Whether it is the 100, 200, 400, 800, hurdles, or the mile or a marathon we are to run our race until the Lord says we are finished and go obtain our reward. Christ strengthens us to run and finish it. We also must remember I can’t run your race and visa versa.

While we run this race there are things that go on that we don’t understand. Even the change of seasons - we don’t understand it but he shows us he is here and is working. He reminds us that He is in control of it all.

In order for us to keep going we must focus our eyes on the hills from where our help comes from and to where we are headed. As we march on we also remember that all things work together for the good of them who love God and are called according to His purpose.
As we move toward holiness and in constant fellowship and relationship with the Lord, there’s no need for us who do right to be concerned about the laws.

As we keep going:
-Read the word - it cleanses us.
-Keep our minds on Jesus - doing so gives us peace of mind.
-Walk upright- it models Christ and points others to Him.
-Share the gospel - lead them to Christ.

A Matter of the Heart
I Corinthians 11:23-26

We should continuously examine our hearts as continuously ask forgiveness for our unclean acts and we should continuously forgive others who’ve hurt us in any way.

Be sure your temple is clean everyday. Ask God to clean me daily. Walk in truth so I can be and at one with God. I need to be Holy and separated to God. I can’t partake of the Lords table and also that of demons. I must be in fellowship with him everyday. I can’t live as a cat and as a dog.

I must be in constant fellowship, prayer and communication with God so I can make right decisions and choices. I need to remember “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” and allow others to see Jesus in me.

When a pilot flies airplane he must be in constant communication with the air traffic control tower. He can’t do anything without permission from the ATC. The pilot may think all looks clear. But a near miss can occur even if the next plane is a mile away from the plane while in the air. However, the ATC can see farther and clearer than the pilot. The ATC has an ability through radar that the pilot doesn’t have. He knows the dangers around us that we can’t see. He also knows the dangers on the ground when landing. God is the air traffic controller, Jesus is the radar, The Holy Spirit is our pilot.

It’s a matter of the heart. Align your heart with God so you can see where you are going. Trust in him. It’s a matter of the heart.

James 5:7-11. Patience.

If we seek to have the same mind that is in Christ Jesus, we ought to be patient with others.

As we go through life's circumstances we build character, and we have a hope that we won't be wiped out but that there is a way out made for me.

We must exercise patience when bringing forth fruit. (Luke 8:15)

We will experience those who are tired, weak, faint, and also those who don't want to hear the Gospel but be patient with them.

We rush and wish our lives away. I wish today was Friday. I wish it was time to retire. Stop it. Even in tribulation we should live each day that God gives us faithfully with a hope God gives. Be steadfast in prayer. We must hold out until the end and stop trying rush to the end. Live each day fully, giving fully to God.
If we wait on Him He will give us what we need.
