Until we as believers get it out of our heads that going to church is the call on our lives, we will continue to fail as Christians.
God has called us to so much more. To live in, progress, and pursue the kingdom of God and His righteousness.
That doesn’t mean to just attend a Sunday morning service. For some of us, even that is second option when something else is available.
Where are our priorities? God and His agenda isn’t supposed to come second to anything. We are to serve, even when that takes you out of your comfort zone. We are to grow and progress the kingdom. That doesn’t just mean you but those that are lost in a dying world around you.
We need to do everything in our power to reach them. Go where people tell you not to, say things that will make them look toward God even if it offends them.
What’s more important, for you to do nothing and make to heaven while others go to hell or do something so they can make it to heaven even if it makes you uncomfortable?
Again I ask, where are your priorities. The correct answer is ‘however and wherever God needs me’. He needs you in church. He needs you in the community. He needs you to serve those that need Him. Stop thinking the way you think, and stop believing the lies Satan tells you. Start sharing Jesus, get out there and love as He loves, and stop putting anything and everything before Him.
Seek and you shall find. You DO have a purpose!
