Good afternoon, church family! I just wanted to remind you guys what’s happening at Wendover Hills Church this August. 🙌

We have so many exciting opportunities coming up, and we’d love for you to be a part of them!

🎉 Sunday, August 2 — Our middle school and high school students will be sharing their camp experiences, and we’ll also be celebrating baptisms during this special service!

📚 Back to School Drive — We are collecting school supplies over the next several weeks to bless students in our community. A collection box is available in the lobby. Needed items include:
• Wide-ruled paper
• Dry erase markers
• Backpacks

🍦 Ice Cream Nights — We have THREE opportunities in August to invite someone to join you for a fun night of fellowship! Each night starts at 7:00 PM.
🍨 August 5 — Ozzie’s (3712 Old Battleground Road, Greensboro)
🍨 August 12 — Bruster’s (1130 Eastchester Drive, High Point)
🍨 August 19 — Wendover Church

A Simple Gesture Food Collection:
Let’s fill the box in the lobby and help serve families in our community! Donations are picked up every two weeks. Needed items include:
• Rice
• Beans
• Jelly
• Peanut Butter
• Cereal
• Pasta
• Vegetables
• Fruit
(No glass jars, please!)

Good afternoon Wendover family!

This Sunday we had the joy of praying over our kids before they headed to church camp. We're praying God blesses them with a safe week, lasting friendships, and hearts drawn closer to Him. We can't wait to hear all He does!

We also continued in our Joel series and learned that the Lord is faithful to restore, provide, and be with His people.

Happy Wednesday, church family!

This past Sunday was such a special time as we celebrated Father’s Day together with a steak lunch and our side dish competition. It was so good to gather, laugh, and enjoy fellowship while honoring the amazing dads in our lives.

Father’s Day also reminds us of the perfect love of our Heavenly Father, constant, faithful, and always present. What a gift that is! 💛
