Some people have a gift for making church feel a little more like family—and this week, we’re celebrating two of them!

Sedgefield | Erik Anderson — GLOWkids
If there’s fun happening in GLOWkids, there’s a pretty good chance Erik is somewhere in the middle of it! He’s the life of the party, and if you asked our kids to name a favorite leader, we have a feeling Erik’s name would come up quite a bit. But behind all that fun is something even more important: a genuine heart for the next generation. Erik, thank you for making our kids feel loved, valued, and excited to be at church. We appreciate the way you invest in them every week!

Eastchester | Jeff Martinez — Guest Experience
Jeff is one of those friendly faces that can make you feel at home from the moment you walk through the doors. Whether it’s a smile, a warm welcome, or an encouraging word, he brings genuine kindness to every interaction as part of our Guest Experience Team. Jeff, thank you for helping turn a building full of people into a place that feels like family!

From our youngest kids to someone walking through our doors for the very first time, Erik and Jeff show us how powerful it can be to simply make people feel like they belong.

Help us celebrate these two incredible volunteers in the comments!

You know those people who see something that needs to be done and simply say, “I’ve got it”? This week, we’re celebrating two of them!

Sedgefield | Brian Shoeppner — Renaissance Men & Experience Team
Brian has a true servant’s heart and a willingness to step in wherever he’s needed. He serves as our Sedgefield Men’s Coordinator and lead usher on the Experience Team, but his impact goes far beyond a title. Brian was also an integral part of our move to Sedgefield, giving his time and energy to help make our new campus home. Brian, thank you for continually showing up and serving our Sedgefield family so well!

Eastchester | Bobby Maynard Jr. — Prayer & Guest Experience
Need a hand? Bobby is your guy! Whether he’s serving through prayer, helping with Guest Experience, or jumping in wherever there’s a need, Bobby is someone our Eastchester family knows they can count on. His dependability, flexibility, and willingness to serve make a difference every single week. Bobby, thank you for being ready and willing to serve however you can!

Brian and Bobby remind us that a servant’s heart isn’t defined by where you serve—it’s being willing to say “yes” when there’s an opportunity to make a difference
