Bible Reading:
The LORD said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the LORD is about to pass by.” Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave. Then a voice said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?” — 1 Kings 19:11-13,
I saw a powerful insight in this Scripture. Look at the difference of how God showed Himself to Moses and Elijah. Sometimes we expect God to show up and bless us in ways He did it for someone else. But, remember how He revealed Himself to Moses. ( The Burning Bush Exodus Chapter 3) another example
( Moses asked to see God Glory ( Exodus Chapter 33:18-20)
In this circumstance God reveals Himself to Elijah in a gentle breeze, not through roaring winds . But He hears God in a small still voice. Mind you, This was the same place God revealed Himself to Moses and the Children of Israel. My point is this don’t try to compare yourself by the way God will reveal Himself to others. Stay in Faith and Believe God for your instructions for your assignment. Don’t overthink on how God will speak. Amen
