Florida Baptist Disaster Relief will complete our assignment in New Castle, IN this Friday, Sept. 2. We have one cleanup team finishing up the work requests that we have left. Our teams have completed over 25 jobs the last two weeks. There have been 125 ministry contacts, 43 gospel presentations, 29 Bibles given out and 1 profession of faith. The work in Indiana still continues in other locations through many of our SBDR partners. If you would still like to help with historic flooding response, North Carolina Baptists on Mission are in need of cleanup teams to do mud out jobs. Contact your blue hat and regional coordinator if you have interest in helping. We have two teams that will be working with NC in the next two weeks. Thanks to all of our volunteers who were able to respond to this need to help one of our partners in the SBDR network.

Florida Baptist Disaster Relief serving from Alaska to Indiana. Our second Alaska response team is on the ground serving and we are finishing our first week of deployment helping Indiana Baptist Disaster Relief with historic flooding. Pray for our teams as they continue to assess homes and do mud out jobs and minister to those impacted by these floods. You may receive emails from your blue hat or regional coordinator. If you are available to serve here in Indiana, please consider the opportunity we have to bring Hope, Help and Healing to these communities.

Florida Baptist Disaster Relief is now DEPLOYED. We have been asked by Indiana Baptist Disaster Relief to help with historic flooding in Indiana. We are being deployed to New Castle, IN, just east of Indianapolis. We will be staying at First Christian Church in New Castle. This is a cleanup/recovery deployment only, we are not being asked for mass feeding. But other ministries are also needed, so you should hear from your coordinators. If you are trained in clean/up recovery, please make sure you make contact with your blue hat or regional coordinator as to your availability. If you are not attached a unit or your unit is not able to respond, but you are willing to serve with another team, then contact your regional cleanup recovery coordinator. You can find all state and regional coordinators here, https://flbaptist.org/ministries/disaster-relief/task-force/ . If you are responding, there is an online individual and team roster, an online PIF form you can fill out ahead of time and the camper reservation form, all found here, https://flbaptist.org/ministries/disaster-relief/, under the NOTICE section. We have an opportunity to serve a community that has been greatly impacted by this historic flooding event, so please consider the opportunity to bring Help, Healing and Hope and the love of Jesus to this community.
