What is a soul worth? According to missionary and pastor Milton D***s, it is worth more than $4.65 a gallon of gas — and more than any obstacle the enemy places in your path. When God calls you to a purpose, He will provide everything you need to fulfill it.

This Sunday’s message reminded us that kindness softens the hardest hearts, obedience moves the hand of God, and His favor is real. From leading a couple to Christ in 1980 and later marrying the widow of that same man, to traveling 5,000 miles across America reaching the lost in campgrounds and national parks, Brother D***s showed us what it looks like to trust God with everything.

Psalm 30:5 reminds us that in His favor is life. Proverbs 3:3-4 tells us we can find favor in the sight of God and man. Whatever you are facing today, God is real, His hand is extended, and He has a purpose for your life.

Freedom Christian Fellowship - Sunday Service

10/22/2026

You were not saved to sit, soak, and sour. You were saved to serve. This Sunday, Team Freedom celebrated what it looks like when every member of the body of Christ steps off the bench and into the game, using the unique gifts God has placed inside them.

From a powerful baby dedication to a moving missions testimony from the Philippines, we were reminded that God is not looking for the most qualified. He is looking for the most available. As one member shared, all you have to do is step into the water and let God be your flotation device.

Ephesians 2:10 reminds us that we are created in Christ Jesus to do good works. There is a position on this team with your name on it. Do not bury your talent. Unwrap the gift God placed inside you and say, “Here I am, Lord. Send me.”

Catch the full message on our livestream and pick up a spiritual gifts inventory to discover where God is calling you to serve.

What does real transformation look like? Not the kind that polishes the surface, but the kind that reaches into the deepest, darkest places of a human life and pulls something new into the light? That is exactly what we encounter in these powerful testimonies from men and women who have walked through Teen Challenge. The central spiritual truth running through every story is this: the gospel does not take bad things and make them good. It takes dead things and makes them alive. We hear from people who were not simply struggling with bad habits. They were lost. They were isolated. They were convinced that destruction was their destiny. And yet, God met them there. One of the most striking themes is the role of isolation in addiction and brokenness. When pride creeps in, as we see illustrated through the story of King Saul in 1 Samuel 13, we begin to believe we can handle life on our own. We get ahead of God. We stop waiting. We stop trusting. And that self-sufficiency quietly becomes a prison. The antidote, as we discover, is not willpower. It is community, accountability, and surrender. These testimonies challenge us to ask ourselves where in our own lives we might be getting ahead of God, and whether we are willing to be the kind of community that reaches back for the ones who are still lost.

What if God’s plan for your victory starts with reduction instead of addition? In part two of The Gideon Effect, we explored how God took Gideon’s army from 32,000 down to 300 men before delivering a nation from 135,000 enemies. Not because God made a mistake, but because He wanted the glory to point to Him alone.
When our resources shrink, our dependence on God grows. As Zechariah 4:10 reminds us, we are not to despise small beginnings, and 1 Samuel 14:6 declares that nothing can stop the Lord from saving, whether by many or by few. The jar must break for the light to shine.
If you are in a season of loss, uncertainty, or confusion, this message is for you. You may be weary, but you are still a warrior. Give God your yes, walk in obedience, and watch Him turn reduction into victory.
We look forward to seeing you Sundays at 11am here at Freedom.

What ship are you sailing on? In Sunday’s message, we explored the incredible fleet of ships the Lord has given every believer to sail on toward heaven — the Lordship, Discipleship, Worship, Fellowship, Stewardship, and Friendship. Each one carries us further into the purposes of God and deeper into relationship with Him.

Jesus already paid your fare in full. As He declared on the cross, “It is finished.” The invitation is open, the gangplank is down, and the Captain is waiting. Whether you need to board for the first time or climb back on after drifting off course, today is the day to set sail.

As Jesus said in John 15:14, those who follow His commands are called His friends. That is where this journey leads — to the Friendship, where He welcomes you by name.

Do not stay on the dock. Come aboard. 🛳️

WHAT IF YOUR REDUCTION IS REALLY GOD’S PREPARATION?
Gideon went from 32,000 → 300—and discovered that LESS WITH GOD IS MORE THAN ENOUGH.

🔥 THE GIDEON EFFECT — FROM REDUCTION TO VICTORY

Sometimes God allows a season of reduction not to diminish us, but to draw us closer to Him and remind us where our strength truly comes from.
