Okoa Refuge Become a part of a movement that is transforming communities and stabilizing families through love.

Okoa Refuge is a 501(C)(3) formed in 2008 that rescues Abandoned and Orphaned Children in Uganda Okoa, through holistic care and creating family. Okoa provides the children the opportunities to be a kid, normalcy and a chance to break the cycle of poverty.

From protecting survivors and caring for vulnerable children to providing medical care and sharing the hope of Christ, every number in this report represents a life impacted by God's love.

Over the past quarter, together we have:
• Protected 534 survivors of gender-based violence
• Cared for 114 children in our residential programs
• Treated 1,437 patients
• Celebrated 155 Bible School graduates
• Helped launch 12 new churches

What began with just 45 students in 2011 has grown into 139 Bible schools across 7 countries, equipping more than 3,151 church leaders to faithfully share the Gospel.

Each graduate represents another leader bringing hope, discipleship, and the love of Christ to their community.
