Flashback Friday to last summer!
Who could forget the Great COOS BBQ & Dessert Showdown of 2025? Stacy took home the title for Best BBQ, while Corrie claimed victory with the winning dessert. With so many delicious entries and enthusiastic judges, it was one of the tastiest nights of the year!
This year, we're making it even bigger by giving each competition its own night.
🌴 Summer BBQ Cookoff
Saturday, May 30
5:30–8:00 pm
COOS Patio & Parking Lot
Enjoy live music, mocktail margaritas, tropical sides, pulled chicken, and samples from our BBQ contestants. Think cruising down A1A with Jimmy Buffett on the radio, palm trees swaying, and friends gathered for a great summer evening.

Flashback Friday to 2021 and the Ball Family’s sabbatical journey to the West Coast. A sabbatical is a season of intentional rest, renewal, and time away from the normal demands of ministry so pastors and their families can be refreshed spiritually, emotionally, and physically for the next season of ministry.
This Sunday, we begin our Summer Single Service schedule with ONE service at 10 am, followed by a Potluck Brunch as we send David and the Ball Family off on this year’s sabbatical and welcome Curtis, Kelly, and their seven children to the COOS family! Bring a dish to share and celebrate with us.
