A new FM History Update newsletter went out Monday afternoon. This edition has an update about the book digitization project that was started several years ago. This project is a partnership with Asbury Theological Seminary and is meant to get important Free Methodist books digitized, online, and searchable for researchers. It is focusing on the 𝘈𝘯𝘯𝘢𝘒𝘭 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘀𝘦 π˜”π˜ͺ𝘯𝘢𝘡𝘦𝘴 beginning in 1892 for now. You can read more about it here: https://mailchi.mp/fmcusa.org/digital-library-project-revised?e=[UNIQID]

A new FM History Update newsletter went out last week. This edition contains parts of an article about Adelia Arnold by Greg Coates from a Spring 2015 Free Methodist Historical Society newsletter. She was an evangelist who travelled the Mississippi River by raft beginning in 1867 preaching to recently emancipated slaves. She did this until 1889. You can read the newsletter, which contains a link to the full article, here: https://mailchi.mp/fmcusa.org/adelia-arnold-radically-embracing-racial-equality
