Hi!

This week in GWJ Kids, we’re learning that God is bigger than our fears! We’ll be in Numbers 13, where the twelve spies saw giants in the Promised Land and became afraid. We all have “giants” in our lives, but God is bigger than any fear we face. Sometimes He doesn’t remove our fears right away because He wants to teach us to trust Him and depend on Him. I can’t wait to share this lesson with the kids!

A few reminders:

🎉 GWJ Kids & RIOT Youth Family Fun Day is Saturday, August 8, from 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. Bring the whole family for food, games, bounce houses, crafts, and lots of fun! If it rains, we’ll reschedule, and I’ll let you know.

📖 Bible Quizzing starts in September! This year, most of the reading will happen at home with your family, with one practice each month before the quiz meet. My prayer is that this helps our families spend more time in God’s Word together and discover just how faithful, loving, and powerful He is.

Hi everyone! I hope you and your families can all make it to our very first GWJ Kids & RIOT Youth Family Fun Day! We are so excited to spend this time together with all of you.

We’ll have:

• 💦 Bounce houses (including one with a water slide!)
• 🏓 Pickleball
• 🌽 Co****le
• 🛟 A small pool for the little ones if it’s hot
• 🎨 A fun take-home craft

It’s going to be a great day of laughter, fun, and fellowship, and we can’t wait to make memories together. If it rains, we’ll simply reschedule.

This week in GWJ Kids, we’ll be learning about God’s amazing forgiveness by looking at Exodus 32. Aaron gave in to the crowd and made a golden calf, but God didn’t give up on him. Instead, He showed grace and gave him another chance. I’m so thankful that we serve a God who forgives and gives us new beginnings!

Family Fun Day – Saturday, August 8 | 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. 🎉

Join us for a fun time of food, fellowship, and games as we celebrate our GWJ Kids and RIOT Youth families! We’ll even have a bounce house/slide for the kids and teens. We hope to see you there!

Bible Quizzing begins in September! 📖

Quizzing is open to children in 1st–6th grade. This year, families will do most of the studying at home by reading God’s Word together. We are studying the book of Exodus. I’ll provide the quiz questions, and we’ll meet once a month for a fun practice with games, food, and review. My prayer is that this helps our families spend more time together in God’s Word.

As many of our kids head back to school, please know I’m praying for each of them and your families. I pray they’ll have a wonderful school year and be a light for Jesus wherever they go!

💙 This Sunday in GWJ Kids! 💙

It’s going to be a very special Sunday!

🎓 We will recognize our soon-to-be 6th graders as they graduate from GWJ Kids and move into RIOT Youth. During the service, they’ll come forward to receive a special gift as we celebrate this exciting milestone. We are so proud of each of them and can’t wait to see all God has in store as they continue to grow in their faith!

🌏 This week our kids will remain in the worship service as we welcome missionaries Brian & Julie Woolley from Okinawa, Japan. What an incredible opportunity for our children to hear how God is working around the world and that we can all play a part in sharing the love of Jesus.

❤️ At the end of the service, our kids will also participate in our Faith Promise pledges. We love teaching our children that no matter their age, God can use them!

✨ It’s going to be a wonderful morning as we worship together, celebrate our graduates, learn about God’s work around the world, and discover how we can all shine the light of Jesus.

We can’t wait to see you this Sunday! 💙

🌿💚 Day 2 of VBS at Grace Pointe was incredible! 💚🌿

Today we explored the amazing truth that God is Love. ❤️

The kids learned just how big, faithful, and perfect God’s love truly is. We can try our best to love others and do what is right, but only God can cleanse us from our sin and make us new.

Because of His great love, God sent His one and only Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins. But the story doesn’t end there—Jesus defeated death! He rose again, and everyone who puts their trust in Him receives the gift of eternal life with Him.

The most exciting part of the day was seeing several kids come to the foot of the cross and give their hearts to Jesus. 🙌 There is no greater joy than watching children respond to God’s love and begin a relationship with Him. Please join us in praying for these precious children as they grow in their faith and learn to follow Jesus each day.

What an incredible reminder that God’s love isn’t just something He says—it’s something He proved through Jesus. His love changes everything! 💚

🌿✨ Day 1 of VBS at Grace Pointe was AMAZING! ✨🌿

What an incredible start to our rainforest adventure as we explore the Nature of God! 🌎💚

Tonight we discovered that God is our Creator. From the towering trees and colorful animals to the stars in the sky, He created everything—and the most special part of His creation is YOU! We are made in His image, which means every person has incredible value and purpose.

Sometimes we catch a glimpse of God’s love through His creation and through the people around us—a friend who helps someone in need, a smile from a stranger, a comforting hug when we’re sad, or the food on our table that He faithfully provides. These everyday moments remind us of His goodness and care.

What a beautiful God we serve! We can’t wait to see what He teaches us tomorrow. 💚🌿

This Sunday in GWJ Kids, we are exploring the nature of God: God is Forever! 🌟

We will look in the book of Revelation and talk about what heaven will be like. Heaven will be a wonderful place—so beautiful that we can’t even imagine! There will be no more pain, sadness, or death. ❤️

But the most wonderful part of heaven will be being with God forever! In His presence, we will experience complete joy and peace.

✨ And remember: when we trust Jesus and follow Him, our forever with God can start today! ✨

This week in GWJ Kids, we’re learning that God gave us the Ten Commandments not to control us, but to protect us.

He loves us deeply and wants to guard our hearts from the pain that sin brings. God teaches us how to love Him and love others in ways that lead to life, joy, and peace.

What an amazing God we serve! His love for us is immeasurable. Never forget how much He loves you and your family!

Just a friendly reminder that there is no Sunday School this week. Service starts at 10:40 a.m. Kids will begin in the service with their families and will be dismissed after worship, prayer, and communion for Children’s Church.

This week in GWJ Kids, we are learning how Jesus teaches us to be like Him. Jesus didn’t just come to rescue us—He also shows us how to live and become more like Him. We’ll be looking at Matthew 10 and learning that the more time we spend with Jesus, the more He shapes us to reflect Him. What an amazing God we serve!

Don’t forget to register your kid(s) for VBS at Grace Pointe! We can’t wait to see what God does through this special week!
