Our neighbors are continuing to recover after last week’s historic flooding. Communities near CG Midtown, including Rocky Ripple, Broad Ripple, and Ravenswood, were particularly hard hit.

💙💙💙 Here are a few ways you can help:

• Partner with St. Luke’s UMC in Broad Ripple - Learn about current needs, ways to volunteer, and opportunities to give.

• Volunteer in Ravenswood - Help with donation sorting and cleanup efforts as needs continue to develop.

• Give to the CG Midtown Flood Fund - Support Common Ground Midtown congregants affected by the flooding.

• Pray for Our Community - Continue praying for everyone impacted by the storms and flooding.

This weekend, 55 students and 20 adults are traveling to Camp Illiana to kick off our ministry year with Beginnings Camp. This year, they will explore the theme of "purpose," specifically the question, "What difference can I make?"

Please pray for our speaker, Jared Huhta, as he shares about finding purpose in God. Pray for our youth worship team (pictured above), led by Cidney Callahan, that they will share their joy and be able to truly worship as they lead. Pray that our youth will know how deeply they are loved by God and that they will form authentic relationships with peers and mentors.

Please also pray that this will be a time to silence any lies that we believe about ourselves or God. May this be a time of joy, peace, and love!
