St. Paul's Episcopal Church

St. Paul's Episcopal Church Sharing Christ’s Love . Creating Community . Striving for Justice
Inspired by sacred worship and Jesus’ call to love our neighbor, St. stpaulsindy.org St.

Paul’s welcomes and serves all with a commitment to justice, inclusion and generous hospitality. Paul’s strives to be a place in which all people discover God and a deep sense of mission and purpose. All are welcome. As a congregation of the Episcopal Church we are anchored in a centuries old tradition that is ancient yet new, ritualized yet relaxed, transcendent yet intimate, reverent yet filled

with life. While some of us have been Episcopalians for all of our lives, others found the Episcopal Church only recently. What we share is a common desire to seek and find God in the context of a community. We want to walk this journey with others . . . in worship, in conversation, through learning, in fellowship, and in service to Indianapolis and the world. We want to be a place where anyone - and we mean anyone - can experience a renewed, reconciled and loving relationship with Jesus Christ.

Broad Ripple Village Association Duck Race and Festival is TODAY!

Be sure to visit the St. Paul’s Indy booth, just south of the rainbow bridge on Guilford Ave. We’re here until 1 and would love to say hello, share a little about our parish community, and connect with neighbors and friends from across the village.

As Pride month begins, save the date for a gathering commemorating the 50th anniversary of the 1976 General Convention resolution declaring that LGBTQ+ people have a full and equal claim to the pastoral care and support of The Episcopal Church. The event, “Full and Equal: 50 Years in Pursuit of a Promise,” will celebrate progress and acknowledge the work that remains.

The three-day gathering, held in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Sept. 3-5, will include storytelling coaching, workshops, a banquet, and a Eucharist featuring Presiding Bishop Sean Rowe as presider and Bishop Gene Robinson as preacher. Spanish-language interpretation will be available.

More registration details will follow. Please save the date and help spread the word.

At St. Paul’s Indy, we believe every person is created in the image of God and worthy of dignity, love, and belonging.

This Pride Month, we celebrate LGBTQ+ people not as guests at the margins, but as beloved members of our community and the Church.

Whoever you are, wherever you come from, there is a place for you here.

Reminder: our pasta drive starts tomorrow! Something as simple as a box of pasta can help us support Second Helpings in providing nutritious meals each day to neighbors across Central Indiana. Last year, St. Paul’s Indy donated more than 100 pounds of pasta — let’s see if we can surpass that milestone together!

From May 31–June 14, bring boxes of dry pasta (especially spaghetti and elbow macaroni) to the collection bin in Burrows Commons. Every donation helps nourish our community and reminds our neighbors that they are seen, valued, and cared for.

Thank you for helping to make a difference!

For four days, more than 50 kids filled St. Paul’s Indy with laughter, friendship, creativity, and play. This week’s Day Camp ended the best way possible — together, joyful, and loud with delight.

Celebrating a baptism on the Day of Pentecost reminds us of the Holy Spirit's power. May we be grounded in faith and community, embodying Christ's love for one another and for God's world. See the Rev. Dr. Pamela Payne's full Day of Pentecost sermon at stpaulsindy.org/sermon
