We are very excited to announce one of our biggest events yet! Joined with YJP and JCRC.

Join us *THIS WEEK* as we celebrate our amazing country existence with the amazing *Israeli* artist Motti Rodan!

It will be a night with great company, great food and so much fun.

One of my favorite holidays is here 🥰🥰🥰

When I heard Shavuot wasn’t really celebrated in the US I knew I had to do something 🫡

1. The kids in the JCC learned about the holiday and made themselves flower crowns💐
2. Part of our Prystowsky Atid leadership program alumni joined us for a cooking night with my families traditional dishes!
3. I got my group of friends to have a Shavuot dinner together and celebrate the holiday tonight 🤩🤩

So why Shavuot? The word Shavuot in Hebrew means weeks, and it suppose to represent the end of the Omer counting weeks!

Due to its date, Shavuot is also named - the harvest holiday! This is the season when farmers start harvesting their first crops 🌾🌾🌾 to them we call Bicorim!

I wish you all a Happy holiday everyone and I hope you will have a lot of fun and great dairy food!

Tomorrow we celebrate Jerusalem day!🦁🇮🇱✡️

The day marked the unification of the city following the 1967 war.

It’s such a special city to our people and as Israelis we are grateful to be able to walk around the city safely.

Wow!! Can’t believe that time of the year has arrived🤩🤩🤩

Lag Ba’Omer is one of the most social and friends oriented holidays! 🪵🎇❤️‍🔥🔥

Back in Israel we would have been lighting fires, making burnt potato’s and roasting marshmallows. 🍠🥔🍗

Although it suppose to rain I hope everyone will find a place to go and celebrate this fun day! 🫂☔️🔥

Wowwww!!! What weeks we had!!!

•Started off strong with the emotional Yom Ha’Zikaron
•continued with our incredible soldiers how came to visit and met with so many community members.
•Went to IU for the IsraelPalooza.
•Went back for more events with the soldiers
•our biggest community event of the year - Yom Ha’Azmout!!!!
•Continued quickly to meeting with the consul general from the consulate in Chicago,
•another program in Purdue
•ended these two weeks with an israeli mission from our partnership region.

What a beautiful program we had this Monday. So emotional and exciting, full of talented and great volunteers who have done such an amazing job in bringing Israel here, to Indiana.

There’s no doubt it’s a happy-sad holiday. Every holiday is happy, knowing our families and friends in Israel are suffering from alarms during Seder is sad.

I wish for better days, peaceful days, may g-d protect our soldiers and families, in combat and in shelters.

May this holiday bring us peace and happiness🙏
