✨ A Blessing Beyond Measure ✨
This past Sunday, November 9th, our mission received an extraordinary grace.
Thanks to Father George, we had the profound blessing of venerating three sacred relics of St. Pio of Pietrelcina (Padre Pio) during our Divine Liturgy:
🙏 The glove worn by Padre Pio on his stigmatized hand
⚜️ The sacramental chalice he used in his daily celebration of the Holy Mass
✝️ A first-class relic (bone fragment) of this beloved saint
These precious relics remind us of Padre Pio’s incredible devotion, his suffering united with Christ, and his powerful intercession for all who seek his help.
May the blessing of St. Pio’s presence in our mission protect our entire community and all our families. We are grateful for this special moment of grace at Our Lady of Cana.

When 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁 called 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 "𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙖𝙢𝙗 𝙤𝙛 𝙂𝙤𝙙," he wasn't just giving a title - he was foretelling the 𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲. Like Abraham and Isaac, this divine plan of salvation shows us the depth of God's love for humanity.

✨ "𝗗𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂" - 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆'𝘀 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.

𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗲𝗹'𝘀 extraordinary sanctity wasn't just in his miracles, but in his absolute, unconditional obedience and love. His life teaches us that true spirituality knows no "picking and choosing" - it's all-encompassing, pure, and complete.

In the heart of Indianapolis at Our Lady of Cana Maronite Mission, a timeless question echoes: "If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly." The words of Jesus, filled with grace and strength, resonate deeply as He says, “My sheep hear my voice… I give them eternal life.”
➡️ In a world filled with doubts, let’s remember His promise: no one can take us out of His hand. Jesus reminds us that faith goes beyond words—it’s in the works He performs and the peace He offers. For those seeking hope, the message is clear: believe the works and see that the Father is in Him, and He is in the Father.

The Maronite and Eastern families of Indianapolis, through the work of the Holy Spirit have been gathering in prayer and community. Our main attention here in Indianapolis is to raise and care for our children and our families, giving them our values and attachment to God. Our first celebration of the Divine Liturgy was On May 7, 2023 at St. Luke Catholic Church.
