LGBTQ Faith is a ministry of St. Paul's Episcopal Church but is open to all who identify as LGBTQ who are 18+yrs. old. Whether you are struggling with faith, have lost your faith, never had faith or simply trying to live your best life in faith, LGBTQ Faith offers an open, inclusive and safe space where you can bring your best self and know that you are affirmed and respected. We meet on the third Thursday of every month from 6:30PM-8:00PM at St. Paul's (6050 N. Meridian St. Indpls, 46208). We pride ourselves on building community with one another, spiritual formation, advocacy and service to the wider community. If this is of interest to you, join us. Join us on October 7th from 6:30-8:00 pm at St. Paul’s (in the library): 6050 N. Meridian St. We’ll explore the spiritual discipline of prayer and its many forms. If you are over 18 yrs old and identify as LGBTQIA+, are a person of faith or no faith at all or simply curious, you are welcome.

While we may not be meeting tonight we do encourage you to use this time to practice a form of meditation.This is a difficult time for all of us and it is ever so important to check in with ourselves mentally.

A new form of meditation we were recently taught during service on March 22nd was The Breath Prayer:

~ Close your eyes and take regular, deep breaths.

~Once you've established a regular rhythm, pray one sentence continually that means something for you (for example, "Lord, fill me with your peace" or "Christ, surround me with your presence" or choose a favorite phrase from Scripture or the Prayer Book)

~As you inhale, imagine the Holy Spirit filling you with what you need.

~As you exhale, imagine all the cares, concerns, and activities that fill your life being breathed away.

~You can do this for a few minutes or longer periods of time, whatever is most helpful for you.

Friends - We hope you are doing well and staying healthy during this time.

This time has been an adjustment for all and we are still continuing to adjust. To give everyone a chance to catch their breath and acclimate to the ever changing environment we will not be having a meeting April 2nd.
