We are overjoyed to officially welcome Rev. Sam Locke as the official settled minister of Immanuel! After faithfully serving as pulpit supply, and then as our interim pastor, God has led us to this exciting new chapter together. We are grateful for Pastor Sam’s heart for ministry, leadership, and community, and we look forward to growing in faith, building relationships, and serving together.

For the late nights and early mornings.

For the prayers whispered quietly.

For the meals made, tears wiped, rides given, lessons taught, and love poured out day after day.

Thank you for showing strength with gentleness, faith with perseverance, and love without limits.

Mothers shape hearts long before the world ever sees the results. Your impact reaches farther than you know.

Today, during Teacher Appreciation Week, we pause to give special honor to someone who has faithfully served behind the scenes for over two decades.

After 22 years as our Sunday School Treasurer, we celebrate and thank Julie S.

For years, Julie has quietly and faithfully cared for the resources that support our Sunday School ministry—ensuring that lessons could be taught, children could attend camps, and our programs could continue to grow and thrive.

But her impact goes far beyond numbers. She has been a steady presence, a servant-hearted leader, and a cherished part of our Sunday School community.

Twenty-two years is more than service, it is a legacy of faithfulness, commitment, and love for God’s work.

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” - Matthew 25:23

Today we recognize the teachers who guide our older students and adults in deeper faith and understanding.

Thank you to Julie, Rick, Bob and Pastor Sam for your commitment to teaching Juniors, High School students, and adults.

You lead meaningful discussions, answer tough questions, and help others apply God’s Word to real-life situations. Your role is vital in strengthening faith at every stage of life.

This week, we celebrate not just individuals, but the entire heart of our Sunday School ministry.

Sunday School is more than a class. It’s a place where faith is nurtured, friendships are built, questions are welcomed, and God’s Word comes alive.

From our youngest learners to our adults, every class is a space where lives are being shaped and strengthened in Christ.

To all of our teachers, helpers, and leaders, thank you for your dedication, preparation, and love for God’s people.

Today we want to shine a light on the incredible team working behind the scenes to make our Sunday School ministry run smoothly each week and every week.

A heartfelt thank you to our Co-Sunday School Superintendents, Julie and Sarah, Assistant superintendent, Tim, Secretary, Denise, Corresponding Secretary Jean, who also blesses us with her creativity through our beautiful bulletin boards, and devotions piano player, Marilyn.

Your organization, dedication and quiet service do not go unnoticed. From planning and communication to creating welcoming space and your sharing your musical talents, you help make Sunday School a place where everyone ca grow in faith and feel at home.
