Holy Rosary Catholic Church Indianapolis

Holy Rosary Catholic Church Indianapolis Benvenuti—welcome to La Chiesa del Santo Rosario, Holy Rosary Parish! Our founding pastor, Msgr. It is a source of grace through the sacraments for all who come.

Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church - The Italian Parish of Indianapolis, sits just to the southeast of downtown Indianapolis -- and has since 1909 when it was founded as a home for the Italian Catholic community of the city. Founded in 1909 as a “national parish” to serve the city’s Italian immigrants, “the Italian Parish of Indianapolis” has no designated geographic boundaries. Mari

no Priori, wrote: “Venite, dopo una settimana di cure terrene…rigenerate il vostro spirito alle fonti della grazia.” Msgr. Priori invited all to come to Holy Rosary “after a week of earthly cares to regenerate one’s spirit at the sources of grace.” Today, as then, our Italian Parish serves the needs of people from all over the city and beyond. Holy Rosary is a very unique parish. Along with the very traditional and reverent celebration the Novus Ordo Missae in English — often celebrated “ad orientem,” Holy Rosary is also the home of the Traditional Latin Mass. But all who are registered parishioners at Holy Rosary, regardless of the Mass Form they might predominantly attend, are united into one parish. Both forms exist side by side, and this arrangement works very well. Many who might usually attend one form quite frequently attend the other. Just at the Church is One, so Holy Rosary Parish is one. Because Holy Rosary is not a “territorial” parish, one can become a parishioner regardless of where one lives. It is also possible to have dual membership, i.e., membership at Holy Rosary and membership at, for example, one’s hometown parish. Just as many come great distances once a year to attend our festival, many also come from great distances for a much better reason – the Mass, regardless of form. Holy Rosary is a vibrant parish with some 450 families. Yes, there are many organizations and activities, among them a terrific Knights of Columbus Council and a top-notch religious education program. But the most important things at Holy Rosary, those things around which everything else is in orbit, are Christ, the Mass and Our Blessed Lady, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary. In the words of one of our former pastors, Monsignor Joseph Schaedel, “Providence continues to bless and prosper Holy Rosary. To me and to all of us, that comes as no surprise. Of one thing I am convinced; of one thing I am certain: Providence never fails!”

✨ 𝗦𝘁. 𝗘𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗮: 𝗪𝗶𝗱𝗼𝘄, 𝗔𝗯𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝗼𝗿 ✨

🌹 Celebrated on June 8th, Saint Eustadiola was born around 594 in Bourges, France, into a wealthy and noble family. Though she came from a life of comfort and high standing, her heart was drawn toward God, and after becoming a widow at a young age, she chose to dedicate her life and fortune to Christ. 🌹

🙏 Rather than seeking worldly honors or an easier life, Eustadiola used her wealth to build churches, monasteries, and a convent where she later served as abbess. Her generosity became a living witness of the Gospel, showing that earthly riches are best used when offered in service to God and neighbor. 🙏

💫 Saint Eustadiola was known for her deep prayer, penitential spirit, and tender care for the poor and suffering. Many healings and favors were attributed to her intercession, and her holiness brought peace, hope, and encouragement to the people around her. 💫

🕊️ As abbess, she guided her religious community with humility, wisdom, and motherly love. Tradition remembers her as a woman who turned sorrow into charity, widowhood into spiritual fruitfulness, and influence into humble service for the Church. 🕊️

🌟 On her feast day, we remember Saint Eustadiola as a model of generosity, perseverance, and hidden holiness. May her example remind us to use our gifts for God’s glory, to care for those in need, and to remain faithful in every season of life. 🌟

Saint Eustadiola, please pray for us. 🙏
