This afternoon in the Family Life Center, Outreach celebrated 30 young adults who, with the support and encouragement of Outreach, overcame housing and other life challenges to earn their high school diplomas. As they prepare to take their next steps, they do so with greater confidence and hope for the future. Guest speaker Pastor G reminded the graduates that God has brought them this far and that He has even greater things in store for them if they continue moving forward in the right direction.

Over the last few weeks, Kingdom Come has reminded us that the return of Jesus is not meant to create fear, confusion, or endless speculation.

The Apostle Paul has shown us that the coming of Christ gives believers hope in grief, calls us to live awake as children of light, and encourages us to strengthen one another as we wait.

This Sunday, we close the series in 2 Thessalonians 3. Paul brings the return of Jesus all the way down to everyday life. The coming King calls us to pray faithfully, live responsibly, and keep doing good without growing weary.

As you prepare for worship, read 2 Thessalonians 3:1-17 and reflect on this simple truth: faithful waiting is not passive waiting.

The team that went to Poland is currently in their air, on their way home. From all reports, it was a great experience and they were able to get a lot of work done. While they were there, they were also able to be part of a video that was produced for Polish Christian Ministries and Ostróda Camp. You might see and hear from a few familiar faces.
