Lincoln Village Ministry Lincoln Village is a community where God's kingdom is being lived out in Huntsville, AL. It is here where God, in all His glory, provides for every need.

Lincoln Village Ministry started as a small seed, an act of obedience in 1992; the planting of one-acre of land to feed families in the community. Over 10 years, that one-acre grew to 40 acres...from the feeding of a few to the feeding of many. Then in 2002, God imparted a new vision, “Go beyond the field to the streets; meet my people where they are...in their time of need.” So began a journey of

amazement, the unfolding of the kingdom right before our eyes. That tiny seed grew to include education, counseling, medical services, sports programs, housing, bible study, and finally a church. The blessings came to the served and especially to those who served. Every day God reveals himself “able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us.” [Ephesians 3:20]

The history and work of Lincoln Village Ministry is a message of hope; hope for the needy – both servant and recipient. It is within the kingdom work where you come to know God, see God, and to feel his provision. It is here where you can rest in your weakness and take comfort in the fact that it is God, in all His glory, who provides for every need.

“The most meaningful part of my time at Lincoln was growing closer to God, which gave me the strength to build a better life, becoming a homeowner and raising my children with purpose and love.”

Her journey reflects deep faith, transformation, and resilience. Tora learned to fully lean on God and allow Him into every part of her life.

Along the way, she accomplished incredible milestones:

We are so proud of our Evolve graduates—today we are highlighting Shelanee! 💛

“They didn’t let me disappear.
They fought for me when I didn’t have the strength to fight for myself.

When I was giving up, they were holding on.
When I felt like my soul had died, they reminded me I was still here. They helped me find my breath again. Not all at once, but piece by piece. Day by day. Moment by moment.

Looking back now, I believe God placed me there on purpose. Because He knew.”

Shelanee made history as Lincoln’s first deaf Evolve graduate! ✨

Her journey has been one of deep growth and transformation as she’s grown in her knowledge of God and discovered her calling. She has now enrolled at Calhoun Community College and is expected to graduate in 2027 with an A.S. in Social Work.

Her story is powerful, resilient, and full of purpose. Congratulations, Shelanee—your future is just beginning! 🎓💛✨

We are so proud of our Evolve graduates—today we are highlighting Sharon! 💛

“My time at Lincoln was truly meaningful and transformative. One of the most impactful lessons I learned was how to ask for help without feeling weak or like a failure.

I also learned what it means to be a good neighbor and what a true community looks like—one where people support, uplift, and genuinely care for one another.”

Along her journey, Sharon accomplished so much:
• Earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Athens State University
• Completed First Time Homebuyers Training
• Completed two Cornerstone Initiative courses: Faith and Finance and Jobs for Life
